Eugene C. “Geno” Fragale, 88, of Quarryville, entered into rest on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Born in Kennett Square, he was the son of the late Angelo and Mary (Aielo) Fragale. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Darlene (McAlarney) Fragale. Geno was a professional gardener at Longwood Gardens of over 20 years. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and had attended St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Geno enjoyed roller skating and regular breakfast meetings with a group of local veterans. Everybody knew Geno by the smile on his face and the twinkle in his eye. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Helen “Dolly” Citino of Kennett Square; 3 nieces and 2 nephews. There will be a viewing at Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, 227 W. 4th St., Quarryville, PA on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. Final Farewell and Commendation will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, 460 N.
